Trezor Suite Setup Guide

Step 1: Download Trezor Suite

Visit the official SatoshiLabs website and download Trezor Suite for your operating system:

• Trezor Suite for Linux

Always verify that you're downloading from the official source to ensure security.

Step 2: Install Trezor Suite

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Trezor Suite will guide you through the installation process. Once complete, launch Trezor Suite from your applications menu.

Step 3: Connect Your Trezor Device

Connect your Trezor hardware wallet to your computer using the USB cable. Trezor Suite will automatically detect your device. If this is a new device, Trezor Suite will guide you through initialization.

Step 4: Initialize Your Trezor Device with Trezor Suite

Choose whether to create a new wallet or recover an existing one. Trezor Suite will generate a recovery seed. Write down this seed in a safe place—never store it digitally. This recovery seed is crucial for accessing your cryptocurrencies if your device is lost or damaged.

Step 5: Set Up PIN and Passphrase in Trezor Suite

Configure your PIN on your Trezor device. Trezor Suite will prompt you to enter a PIN code. You can optionally set up a passphrase for additional security—Trezor Suite will create a separate, encrypted wallet for passphrases.

Step 6: Complete Trezor Suite Setup

Verify your backup, configure any additional settings in Trezor Suite, and you're ready to start managing your cryptocurrencies. Trezor Suite is now fully set up and ready for use.
